this is a picture from the "louisville is for lovers 2008 showcase"
it's billy and cheyanne from Big Time Band. i put this picture up because it's early morning here and i'm awake and have nothing to do right now, and also because when i saw that 1970's picture of cydde's daddy it reminded me of billy. maybe their kin. he is also in a band called The Trophy Wives that are on TRAFOZSATSFM and on a future release or two. and cheyanne is busy these days too. she and Will O just finished some recording for louisville is for Lovers vol.9, and is scheduled to be on the road with will for 6 months in 2009. i don't know how these people juggle so much at once, but i'm awful thankful they do!

they must love what they do. can't wait to hear 9.

ps. it's the beard and that swish 70s hair! we've always said we might have long-lost sibblings in other countries (notably the US and Germany)!

yeah the weird hair swish. yeah, 9 is killing me. it had better be good.

cool pic! check you tube, there are some movies from cheyenne with will in a church in Italy from December. Best wishes for 2009!!
It's freezing here all week and today we're going to check the ice!
Did my package arrive already somewhere?
Looking forward to number 9 John!

thank you for posting that leo, i don't tend to seek out those things myself. though john says that will is on the road all year, i expect that we won't be seeing him in the far south so this is good to get a fix. last he was here was in early 2006 when i saw him in sydney.

good luck finding ice (i assume to go skating?). we don't have bodies of water large enough in the coldest parts to have frozen lakes for skating. i hope you have a warm place to return to!

i should say that your package did arrive leo - i have it in the list of things to listen to along with dmx that john sent. i like the idea though, songs referencing the sun. i'm not sure why you should be embarrassed about it though! i bet you get asked a lot for 'best music' kinda things so it probably helps to have something on standby. i'll get back to you when i've listened to it!

'this leo sunrise' references the sun.
well, leo, you scared me. i don't think will would play the vol.9 track until it's release, but i was a little nervous anyway. i need to hurry up and get that record out.
no.9 is crazy, crazy daisy as they say. but i'm determined to get a press release out by monday, to stop some of the speculation. although the visits on the website are way up for people waiting.i knew working with another label would be extra work and worry, and i'm trying to chin up! my new job is a bust. turns out the guy lied about a lot so i could hook him up and do some booking for him for free. the job search continues.
yeah, cheyenne is all over with will. i think it's because he's billing shows as 'bonnie billy and cheyenne" so people are saying "who is this?" it's wild how fast someone goes from a relatively quiet life, and in a week explodes and the whole world knows your face. will has influence like that too.
we have lakes and ponds around the city that freeze and is good for skating, and it's neat to see little kids spin all around, but i'm terrified about it breaking. i guess it's some sort of dark romantic idea about the entire town's children swallowed up all at once. (utrecht children are immune of corse).

there's a kid in that there picture!

there's two! (well, one eye each). knox and jackie! the one on the left took the picture.

too bad your new job didn't work. I guess the LIFL isn't enough to make money with?
Thanks for making Utrecht children immune!!

i used to ice skate as a child, as all children do i guess, but as i got older i got terrified of accidents.
i bet growing up in the netherlands is great fun. do you speak several languages? when i was there a man told me that most everyone spoke the languages of nations that once ruled over the netherlands.
i did notice the older lady i sometimes worked for conveniently forgot how to speak english during the summer months when the place was full of tourists.

I speak English and a bit German. I can't understand French at all. Yesterday I went for a 10 kilometer skate on a lake. That was a bout 12 years ago that this was possible, nice experience!
