i suck

hey everyone. i feel bad about falling out of the loop but work has been killing me. 51 people were laid off at the newspaper so my workload has picked up. next thing you know they'll have me delivering papers.

i appreciate the last batch of music, and i'm all about some comic books so that was a nice bonus. i'll get busy burning and head to the post office.

u don't suck. c'mon.
we all took a little break, but i guess if everyone is itching, maybe it's time to throw some records at each other.

bon jour monsieur leo. i heard on the radio last night that a cold snap engulfed the netherlands and everyone went out and ice skated. the cold snap hit the northern u.s. and everyone bitched.
on the public radio every night they have a 'geo quiz' and they describe a place and give you an opportunity to guess what place they are speaking of. last night they said ' a cold snap hit this place and gave residents a chance to skate on the canals and lakes.' and they had a woman and her daughter explain in excitement how fun it is to ice skate. just the fact that this woman had great english was enough to guess the netherlands. well, the canal bit too :-).
have fun sir!

p.s. it's -15c (5f) in louisville today. and i bet that's enough for cydde to regret not going to the Big Day Out.

we've been having days of 36 and 37 C (98.6F). not nice to be stuck with a bunch of sweaty ugly men with their shirts off!!! ha ha ha. my BDO days were over ten years ago - short of a band playing that i simply couldn't miss, you won't catch me there again. course if any of you ever travel here during january i'd take you!

with a name like BIG DAY OUT, i figured it was like families and couples and such lying in the grass watching alt pop bands. what do i know anyway.

Jeffrey, no problem, hope you liked what you heared!
Yeah the ice skating fun is over, it seems that everyone was totally into it, I think it was about 12 years ago that it froze that long and hard. When 12 years ago there were 2500 people skating a long "official" route, now it were about 8000 people for the same course. So those small ice clubs couldn't handle that (which was actually quite funny). Anyway, this was the first time my kids could have fun on the ice. And fun we had!
