holiday announcement
Just a household announcement; no, I'm not away yet, but before i forget about it, I think I will sent July and August in one package. From my side it will be no compilations, I have no time for that than. I can pick that up in September. I have just digitalized the JSBE show with the interview and I realised I was there too. The problem was that above the studio is a grand cafe and they have nice Belgium beers, so the memory was kind of blurred but came back while listening to this show again! I remember sitting at the bar before the show with a friend of mine and russel simmins. Not that we talked to him or anything, he looked a bit fucked up!

i met russel once, he was fucked up, but played perfectly! and hit on all the ladies!! so your on hoilday in july & august? i'll go ahead and make july my jsbex month aswell! or is july girl's names?

i will support songs with chicks names in for july (if teeny and i can have special dispensation to include at least one song with a man's name in). partly cos i've sort of done jon spencer recently. but i won't compain if that's what we get!
now to try for a photo based on john's instructions...

i'm still trying to work on june! it's a bad sign if creativity with other people's creativity is a challenge...
looks like soon i'll have to do a post if i wanna share any pics. at least this winter i will try and get some falling australian snow for you guys!

i read a nice essay cave wrote about growing up in the middle of no ware and dispite his parents opposition watching the johnny cash show on t.v. and loving how spooky cash seemed!
next time i am driving across the country (road trip!) i will stop and take a few photos to send. plenty of other towns out that way have signs saying 'the birthplace of...'. the only one i can remember is larry perkins who was a famous race car driver here and now owns a team (in a series similar to nascar).

We have plans to go to Istrië. I added a small map. Italy is on the left (just off the map). With a tent. On a camping.
Camping must be camp-site I think...

Sort of a young punk, but I always hated the way you should look, those dress codes. So it was a bit of all and nothing.
Istrië is on the other side of Italy, on the north east side.

i lived in veince itally for a year. it was a wonderful time. somewhere in itally is a girl named Mette Ravenkild who's stolen half my heart. ha!
