about cd swap
the international music swap is a club of music enthusists from around the globe who share their love for music. each month we send copies of our CD choice to the club members. it can be a whole album, a compilation, really anything you want... (many times we have themes or swap ideas) and return you get a bunch of music each month that you might never have heard before. also it's a chance to meet like minded people, and maybe even pen pals!
we try to send cds out before the last 10 days of the month (since we are sending around the world, we want to get them there in the month we are swaping). basicly just make copies of your monthly cd for everyone who has signed up for that month and send them out, it's that easy! we hope you'll be into it!

wow what a turnout! obviously a lot of zombie fans in them there states. i like the zombie mummy look john. with you in spirit while playing c64 castles of dr creep (frankenstein monsters and mummies galore!)

tattooed? was that part of the prophecy? lee is defiantly covered with tattoos. not many people recognized me though. lots of people did protest the mummy. "mummy's aren't necessarily zombies! mummy's aren't necessarily zombies!"
the whole point was too piss of the fanatics i guess, at least i knew it going into the den...

speaking of, today is a major holiday in the u.s.
labor day. a day to honor the hard working americans. i always thought it was a bit socialist for the u.s. policies, but it's just a day off work, it has no historical value that is celebrated.
here's a good oxy moron, today was the start of the gop, republican national convention, which was scaled down to about half it's normal size due to what their claiming is in preperation for hurricane gustav. (so they can be waiting by the phone incase they need to jump into action, as if they couldn't be contacted anywhere they happened to be).
by canceling half the convention, they put out of work thousands of venders, day laborers, hotel staffers, ect.

today a guy came into the bar where i work and asked me about "music club from all over the world"
apparently word is getting around. i told him about it and played some songs (i have a 'best of swap' mix on the ipod i update monthly) and i tried to word it in a way that wasn't rude, that we try to have people from all over, and not a bunch of people from one place. iv'e had half a dozen people ask me about it this month. i think more louisvillians need to move around the world so they can join us.

thanks leo! i hope your all caught up and acclimated again. my dad always said he needed a week holiday after a long holiday, just to get use to being back at home and ready for work! i wish i knew what a long holiday felt like!

Yeah, your dad's right, I need holiday after a holiday as well, but this year it took longer than i ever experienced...
The kids had a great time as well, we had a campside at a lake and good weather, so that was a lots of swimming, we bought boat as well (an inflatable one that is...). So we all had good times!
